- The health of the hard disk as appears on our data recovery tools
The data recovery charges usually start from Rs. 4000 and go upward.
Important to Note
- 'No data = No charges' DOES NOT APPLY at our company
- In case of memory cards and SD Cards the charges are decided only after a analysis of the card and condition of the card
- If the card shows size as zero bytes and asks for formatting, then charges are decided after an analysis and the card has to be kept with us for 4 to 6 hours for a proper analysis
- For phone data recovery, the data recovery charges are decided after analysis (average charges are Rs. 3500, The phone has to be rooted by the user on his own expense)
- We do not recover data from floppies and tapes. We recover data from DVD ROM and CD ROM.(conditions apply)
Please tell the exact history of the hard disk/media. Any hidden information by a customer/client/dealer leads to Poor or no data recovery and more charges to be borne by client for the data recovery procedures. Please inform us in advance if the hard disk has been physically opened by some other company or was submitted at some other company. Please try to get a report from the other company as to what process was carried out. A no report or improper report would cause problems in recovering data.
Please be aware that it is essential for any data recovery company to back up ROM, ROM MODULES, FIRMWARE MODULES and other details related to factory area files. If these are tampered then data recovery is not possible by other company. Please check whether you got your original ROM, PCB back for the previous company. Customer can loose his data if original ROM and/or firmware is damaged by some company. We will need the original ROM and original firmware from the customer. The customer has to put a request to the company where the hard disk was previously submitted.Tampered and opened hard disk have double data recovery charges. In some hard disks only partial data recovery is possible. Do not allow any company to open the main alignment head screws which open the media. No SILVER labels on these screws must be torn, tampered or peeled out.
If a disk has been dropped, please be truthful to say it. The recovery protocol is different for a dropped drive.
Two opinions are necessary in data recovery and head replacement. In majority of the cases it takes max 2 hours to show data with modern technology, so do not submit your drives to any center which asks for indefinite time.
Software methods of recovery destroy modern drives and weaken the reading heads. Do not whip a tired drive, it fails in health and performance. Double bubble wrap in anti static bag is the best way to ship the drive to the nearest Data recovery experts. See for a certification course in the office of the data recovery expert. Do not entertain Quacks, dealers shop keepers and IT guys. Data recovery is a complex scientific process. So be aware. Most of the drives do not have to be opened physically. Certain investigation permission and a report is necessary to open a drives casing or physical opening of the covering screws. Many drives give data even without opening them or doing a head replacement.
